H-D Dark Custom / Blacked out Bike Predecessors?
With the recent trend by H-D (and others) toward "Dark Custom" and "Blacked-Out" bikes, I got to thinking about some earlier models that were IMO the grandfathers of the genre. I'm not talking about the first year FXSTB Night Train in '99, or the FXSTSB BadBoy of '95-97, or even the FXDB Sturgis of '91.
I am thinking these bikes:
1977 XLCR 1000 Cafe Racer
1980 FXB Sturgis
1980 FXWG Wide Glide (not sure if it qualifies, but still a cool bike)
Anyone know of other H-D's that qualify?

Thanks AdrianVall! I always have a lot of fun whenever I stop someplace for a break in my riding for the day on that bike. It always draws a few people over to ask questions about it. It is the first Harley that I ever bought, but not the last Harley I ever bought, that's for sure! Hey man, take care and ride safe out there!
Oh, By the way, in keeping with this thread, the 2000 FXDX Sport is also a very nice looking all Blacked out motorcycle from the factory too! I think it was Cycle Rider or Cycle World that called it a Sportster on Steroids! My best friend has one and he has changed over to the gear driven cams and added Cycle Shack slipon mufflers and re-jetted the carb with the high flow kit added to it. Nice bike!
