How many of you wear a US flag patch on your riding vest/jacket/etc, flag decal on your helmet, or flag image painted on your bike?

If none of the above, why not?

I do not want to make this a political thread, but I am fed up with reading about kids sent home from school because they wore a T-shirt with a US flag image or drew a picture of the US flag in class, or about employees punished in some way because of wearing an image of the flag to work (or even having a flag decal on ones vehicle!), or about the average Joe getting hassled about displaying the flag!

One good way (IMHO) to respond to such crap is to display the flag every chance you get. I fly the flag in my front yard and have flag patches on my vest and a couple of riding jackets. I'm going to add a flag decal to my pickup truck, and I'm thinking of how to add the image to my Softail.

At least if some A-H wants to be offended by my nation's flag, I'll give him plenty of opportunities!

I don't wear a riding jacket.
But I wear my flag everyday!!

 

one on helmet, one on Blazer, wifes car, and front porch. and when the house next door is up for rent a confederate flag on the back deck. It's worked so far

 

I wear an American flag on the back of all my helmets.

 

I have flags on my helmet and Retired Navy license plate on the bike. When not wearing the helmet, I have an American flag head wrap on. I don't have any patches sewn on my vest yet. Can't decide what I want on the back. POW/MIA, American Flag, or any of several other patriotic images made into patches that I have seen. I have numerous insignia/pins on my vest from my military career and from my son's career. Not afraid to display any of them and welcome any conversation about any of the above.

 

I fly the American flag on the right rear of my bike...and have it on my vests. It would a very interesting conversation to watch if someone came up to me and said take them off, leave them at home, or anything of that nature.

 

I wear a US Flag on my Harley jacket and my denim jacket and proud of it. I also fly a US Flag, Vietnam POW Flag and a Patriot Guard Riders flag on my scooter on special occasions.
