Default Akron HD, AWESOME

In June I rode to Akron for founder's day.
Awoke and discovered I had a flat tire.
on a Sunday, the GM called the service manager
who in turn called a tech to come in and install a new tube and tire on my street glide.

Totally awesome service

If you are in Arkon stop in Freedom HD and say hi to the cat's and dogs walking around the dealership.

Freedom is in North Canton, not *Arkon*.

Liberty is in Akron.

Both Freedom and Liberty are pretty good dealerships in my experience.

Freedom is my dealer of choice. They have always treated me great no matter if it was buying a bike, parts, getting service or something from the retail portion. I've been dealing with them since they were in their old place in Massillon. We are lucky to have several pretty good dealers pretty close by.

Never been over to Freedom HD, I'll have to check them out. Anybody know how they compare to Century HD in Medina? Service Dept., customer service, etc..

Glad you had a good experience, as you won't in many dealerships unless you're buying a bike.

Apples to oranges. Freedom is one of the best dealerships I've been in anywhere, and lucky for me, it's only about 20 minutes away. Their service is great, and they stand behind their work. They advertise that their staff has over 230 years of experiance, and their slogan is "the store that service built" and they live up to it. A large majority of the employees that work there have been there forever. If I were to rate the local dealerships, I'd easily put Freedom at the top and Century would be hashing it out with Adventure, and Liberty for the bottom spots. If I threw in Southeast, Lake Erie, Western Reserve, and some of those, Freedom would still be at the top. They get service business from all over the State, not just locally. By the way, did you know that the owners of Adventure were purchasing the old Roeders shop? Glad that place didn't just dry up and blow away.

Ain't that the truth! I can not relate to these guys that are constantly bashing dealers and the treatment they get from them. I just don't see it around here much. We have some quality dealers in the area.
