Default 0-60 and 1/4 mile times

When shopping for a new car, I always compare 0-60 and 1/4 mile times that the manufacturers and new car review sites publish. Why dont we see the same information published for bikes? I would love to compare stock performance for various bikes/manufacturers. If the info is out there... I haven't seen it.

I'd like to see the numbers too.

I suggest you subscribe to Motorcycle Consumer News. Twice a year they publish all the stats on just about every make and model of bike produced in the last 10 years. Not only that, they do a lot of comprehensive testing of various bikes (Harleys included), riding gear, tools, etc. etc.

Well worth the money...

Why don't the mocos publish the numbers? Don't want to encourage people to race?

If I were MoCo I'd not want my stock HP/TQ numbers public. Guy buys a $30K CVO might not care its twice as much as a VTX with less HP/TQ out the door... but then again he might. Just not in Harley's best interest IMO.

V-Rod does 0-60 in the high 3's and quarter mile in high 10's stock.

If being pertinent was mandatory for every comment on this forum, it would be like Death Valley in here...

Lighten up, Francis...
