Just bought an 05 FLSTCI and it didn't come with a service manual...

I just barely know how to check the oil..... Which manual do I need that shows the basic maintenance schedules and specs on an 05 FLSTCI? And other than a dealership is there anywhere else that sells them?

Get them both. The owners manual is easy to get quick answers from, the Service manual will give you all the repair details. I got a nice used owners manual for my Softail from Ebay for about $5.00

 

OK, here's my 2 cents worth. You really need 3 manuals, Owners manual (that's the little one that comes with all vehicles), the Service Manual ( this is the one that tells you how to do EVERYTHING on your bike), and the Parts manual (this one is great for the exploded diagrams that the service manual lacks). You can get them all on eBay for a whole hell of a lot less than at the dealer.
