My ears are one of my senses. I'd never muffle them.
Only in a gun range.

I always wear them as I value my hearing. But only custom silicone ones - I hated having to stand around rolling the foam ones with my fingers, frequently replacing them and not getting a good seal.

 

Anyone ride with custom earplugs that you can listen to stereo or Scala system? Recommendations?

I pretty much always use mine.

 

I use them when my windshield is off. No option for that in your poll

 

Don't wear earplugs, just my helmet.

But there's a huge difference between windshield/fairing and riding with nothing too.

We get our hearing tested at our Company every year, and my hearing is actually better than average. But out of the 40 plus years of riding, the last 14 years have been on Ultra's and Road Glides, ( where I've logged the vast majority of my miles.)
