Default Liquid Cooled Harley's?

Has anyone heard anything lately about when/if Harley is going to make the swithc to liquid/water cooled engines, across the product lines? Past stories/rumors was that they needed to do so in order to meet the next round of EPA emissions. I also saw a patent they already have for a liquid cooling system for the touring models. Just wondered if anyone has heard anything lately about this?

I think when the time comes it will be the V-Rod engine that gets used.

Really? This again? Do a search on water cooled HDs and you'll see all the info you want.

According to Channel 4 weather man mine will be water cooled on Thursday only.
The patten has been filed for a few years, the rumor of the CA test bikes have been around about that long who knows but this is what it looks like.

Latest rumor has it happening every year since about 1995, but it will happen in 2014 for sure....or maybe it was 2015....or at least by 2020...or I think it was drop dead 2050 at the very very latest. Anyway, it's going to happen and maybe in our lifetime.....for sure.

I can not believe I got in early enough to post this before someone else!

It's almost as good as getting in early on an oil or counter steering thread!

PS - figure 15 is making my shins hot just looking at it.
