That leaves variations of two models.

Fat Boy
Fat Boy Lo
Fat Boy Slim

Heritage Classic

Bring back the Night Train or Custom dammit.
The Slim, Fat Boy, Fat Boy Lo & Deluxe are all based on the Heritage Classic.
I would expect to see something available in the FX Softail line.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the Breakout didn't find its way down the model lineup with a little less chrome, and a lot more black as a standard production model to replace the FX-softail hole the Blackline is leaving.

Hopefully the Road Glide isn't gone for more than a year or so

i was shooting the **** one day at the stealer talking bout these road glides and he said they will be discontinued for 2014 because the machine that makes the front fairing mold is jacked to shizznit, he said they get like 1 good fairing out of every 3 or 4.so i guess they gotta fix the kinks this year.....

Well, the FB and FB Lo have the bigger/wider rear tire.
The Slim looks more like the FB front end put on the Blackline frame (with the Crossbones footboards & tank/console).

They DEFINITELY need to bring back a *good* FX model.
The Rocker was too much of a niche-market design to properly replace the Standard/Custom, and the Blackline was even worse!

The Nightrain was kind of a niche-market, but with how easy it is to replace the drag bars, it had a LOT more appeal than even the Rocker.
It seems with the Blackline, people either love it or hate it...no middle ground. But the percentage of those who love it is so small, not even sure if it's enough to count as a "niche"

But come on....they're still making the Fatboy, so just put the damn Wide-Glide front end on it and we've got a decent FX Softail again! Hell, even with the FB's rear fender, I'm sure it'd have a wider appeal than even the Rocker, much less the Blackline.

Lmfao, that's some serious bs. You could re make the die for that injection molder in 2 weeks. Your dealer is making **** up. I worked in a factory making fisher price toys for 7 years, using the exact same method and machines that harley uses to make their fairings. No machine is left down that long.

I was actually told the same story at my local dealership.

They're pausing for a year to get new machinery that does the front fairing.
