One of the local HD dealers posted a list of the discontinued models for 2014 earlier today. It looks like they removed the post but here's what I saw from memory:
Road Glide Custom
Road Glide Ultra
Electra Glide Classic
Softtail Blackline
Road King Standard
It looks like the rumors were true with no Road Glide for next year. Kinda surprised about the Road King though.
Lot of talk about the Road Glides on here...guess they are retooling something on them. As far as the other bikes looks like they are clearing out the low volume or low cost stuff (depending on how you look at it). They've done the same to a few others over the last few years.
...... i can understand the MoCo wanting to thin out duplicative or low selling models, but dropping the std Road King is a puzzler.
..... they must be planning on having the HD1 program up & running full steam to make all the stuff (hard bags, etc) available that folks used to buy specific models for.

That would be the smart thing to do. 1st year was the Sporty, 2nd was a Dyna. Maybe they're gonna skip the Softail and go with a Touring frame this year. I like the ideal of HD-1. Would have saved me some time and trouble blacking out the engine on my Street Glide.
My local dealer told me:
Discontinued in all global markets
XR1200X
FXS SoftailŽ BlacklineŽ
FLHTC Electra GlideŽ Classic
FLTRX Road GlideŽ Custom
FLTRU Road GlideŽ Ultra
Discontinued in North America only
FLHRC Road KingŽ Classic
Well i wasnt a huge fan of the Blackline was an ok looking bike but it sorta took the place of the Legendary NightTrain which was an awsome bike! So it was doomed from the start! They need to bring back the Train.

Same here. I thought it looked kinda cool but didn't care for it when I rode one.
