Default 3M protective film

I am looking for a source of the 3M protective film in random sheets. I want to cover my headlight, so I can rest a tool bag on top of there.

I have a Softail Slim, and the only place to put a tool bag is over the bars and down onto the headlight. I would rather scratch the film.

Anyone have a favorite place?

Default clear

If you happen to have a sign company in your area they might keep it. I covered the front of my gas tank and was able to buy it locally.

I'm sure any detail shop that installs Clear Bras would have a leftover section that you could get free.

I would try this. I had a 3M clear bra installed on my Cobra, and there was a lot of product left over when they were done.
