Default What side do you and rider mount and dismount?

I saw on a police video they mount and dismount from the curb side to avoid stepping into traffic. This movement does not seem natural to me. I would like to hear from you about which side you and your passenger mount/dismount.

the low side was natural to me being a dirtbiker, but I've tried the high side and though it took a while to get used to, I like it better now.

It is a motorcycle not a horse. Get on from whatever side you like best. Don't try that with a horse though.

Cops learn to mount from the left. That way if they catch the bike with their foot, the jiffy stand will keep the bike from being kicked over.

They need everybody to mount from the same side when in groups. They all know the proper way, and everybody can count on everybody else to do the same.

For civilians it probably does not matter if not riding in a group.

Low side like a horse. Funny I never thought about it before.
