When does Harley Davidson typically post the next year's models on their website? I would like to get a look at the 2014 colors for the Road King. Thanks.

 

Probably late August or September when they come out.

 

....... the Dealers supposedly already have the '14 color chart.
..... '14 models won't be on the website till after the Dealer meeting in August.

 

Sometimes in Sturgis they will make a new model announcement.

I recently placed an order with Military Sales on a 2014 Road King. I really liked the Candy Orange / Beer Bottle Two Tone they had in 2013, but that color scheme is not going to be available in 2014 with the Road King. Here are the colors I was told to choose from for the 2014 Road King.

024-Vivid Black



073-Brilliant Silver Pearl With Striping



521-TwoTone Big Blue Pearl & Vivid Black With Striping



648-Mysterious Red Sunglo With Striping



661-TwoTone Amber Whiskey & Brilliant Silver Pearl With Striping

I think I will go with 521. I can pretty well envision what that will look like. It should be sharp. 648 and 661 I have never heard of before so I imagine those will be entirely new color schemes.

I am very curious to know which models will have a CVO for 2014.

 

First beer bottle,now whiskey. Seems someone at the MoCo needs to lay off of grandpa's cough medicine. Did the price go up any from last year?

 

If it was tequila I might of gone for it.... The price they quoted for me for the 2014 is more than the quote I got last year for a 2013. The price for the 2014 model is not finalized yet, but I'm locked in at the quote I accepted exept if the factory sets the price lower then I will get that price. If they set it higher than my quoted price then I still get the quoted price. So, to answer your question, yes it looks like the price will go up from last year.

661 sounds intriguing. Maybe I'll be ready for a new bike when the 2015 models come out, and I'll pick up a left-over 2014 if that color is nice.

I wonder what the mystery is about the red sunglow????
