Default How to repair denim paint?

I noticed on my tank there are some scratches. Either from my pants while rideing, or getting off the bike. Either that or from a cover that I had over it for a couple of nights. Either way, is there a way to rid thetank of these blemishes on denim paint?

why bother? It'll still look like primer. Leave it alone, dont clean and it will be like new.

Agreed. Denim is not supposed to look clean.

From wot I've been told scratches cant be polished out of denim paint like gloss. The idea of the denim was for it to develop an "aged" look over time. Mine has a couple of minor scuffs and has gone slightly shiny by the seat where my legs rub on it.
All adds to the character I reckon.

You can't repair denim or I would have a long time ago. I have some small shiny spots on my tank, where my jeans bent at the knee and rubbed it. Luckily, they're on the very bottom and not very noticeable.
