Default "High output" 103

Rated at the crank...
The 2013 SG was rated at 100 lbs TQ at 3250 rpm.
The 2014 SG is rated at 104.7 lbs at 3250 rpm with a better cam?????
That maybe means about a 4 lb. increase at the rear wheel?
The 2014 limited is rated at 105.5 lbs at 3750 rpm which means its probably only making about 100 lbs at 3250. Water cooled head and better cam. WTF????

What the hell is so high output about those numbers. A decent stage 1 on a 2013 will beat that and adding a cam and a decent tune blows them away. I know it's EPA driven but I thought a leaner motor made better power. Seems like just marketing BS calling the 2014s "high output".

Apparently you haven't been paying attention to dyno results. Indeed a stage one can do that, but then apples to apples and stage one the stock 14

I am going apples to apples. All 3 bikes factory stock.

I'm going by HD websight. Dynos vary and can be manipulated. I just don't think the claimed power increase is anything special considering they claim they put a better cam in it.

Same day same dyno I ran 6 bikes from bone stock 2013 SG to a new water cooled limited. The new bike were 10% roughly higher then the 13s. The water Cooke was a bit higher then the non water cooled. Slips gave me another 6hp on the limited as we were putting a couple parts on it.

Fuel moto is seeing similar gains comparable to HD claims. Heck of a marketing ploy... They are also manipulating different dynos.

Then maybe HD should use your dyno and put those numbers on their websight. Number can be fudged as easily as running in a different gear. Are you trying to sell bikes? Fuel Moto is trying to sell performance so I take those claims with a grain of salt.

It's a baseline run and with slip ons. I see you cannot figure out we are not selling peak numbers but GAIN. 10% is 10%!

So let me get this straight.... Fuel moto is faking dyno numbers on a stock bike to make it harder to show gains when he makes them? Hahahaha

We have three dynos and all three are almost identical in numbers. I ran my 06 on 7 different dynos long before I was involve with one and all 7 were within 1 hp peak HP. Dyno numbers fluctuate when someone I scamming. Straight up the variance is not that big.
