I sat on the 750 model at the Harley demo ride site at the Laughlin River Rally in April. They did not have the 500 model.
Struck me as a copy of the Honda 750 Shadow my GF used to own. I think it will be a great entry level bike for someone new to motorcycles and Harley. Price will dictate success.

Hardley Abelson, made in India
Just think how proud you'll be with the flag of India on your vest!
You people do realise that when you are told to "accept,(or embrace) change today,You are really being told to BEND OVER!

The Streets for sale in the U.S. are made in Kansas City and that includes the engine. Last time I checked Kansas City was not in India.

Japanese electronics once world class are not China class.
The link I provided clearly said they are manufactured in the U.S. Yes, some parts my be foreign like it is on every Harley but the drive train and probably the sheet metal is made in the U.S. But they are not kits made in India and assembled here. Please provide a link to those web sites you cite as I have never seen anyone except individuals post that rumor.

Let me guess, your afraid they will stop making the Sportster since they make the Street at the same plant.

For some of us, all Harleys are foreign, no matter where they're made. The founders however were British, so that helps make things better!

Do Triumphs have any American made parts? And if they do us that considered a bad thing?
