Thinkin about bumpin my 96" to 103" for something fun to do while laid off from this mess going on.
Have access to late model 103" take off parts including ACR heads to do a complete swap at a great price but wanted to know if the ACR Solenoid is already present in a 2010 so I can just wire in the HD ACR harness # 70623-06???....I have TTS that can enable the ACR's but bike requires the solenoid.

Other considerations I'm researching is cam and piston selection. The heads will be ported with larger valves installed..
Have Andrews 48h now with a Fatcat exhaust in the 96"...leaning towards 57H for this build

2010 Softails did not come with ACR's. So there no solenoids or wiring for them on your bike.

 

Maybe the new harness includes it? I will down load the install instructions and read up.

 

If the solenoid thing doesn't work out, check to see if you can put manual ones in. I went that direction on a '10. I first had a concern about pushing them in hot, but it's not a problem (no I don't wear gloves unless it's cold). Doesn't take long to be able to find them without looking either. Another possibility for you and they are cheap.

 

The harness kit does not include the releases.
