I'm looking at a choice between these 2 years. They're both Limiteds, and fitted out similarly. I gain about 8k mi. with the 2010 and it's priced about the same as the 2012. Any reasons to take one over the other? Any known issues with one and not the other?
Thanks for the feedback. How many miles on yours? The '10 has 28k on it, and from the wrenches I'm talking to thats basically nothing on these new ones.

I bought mine 2yrs ago this month with 10k on it. Got 29k on it now and no problems other than ones I created LOL.
the 12 will have the updated wheel bearings (which are still junk) an oilcooler is stock on the 12. there my be some internal transmission differances too.

Oil cooler on the 2010 and same bearings as the 12. No differences in the tranny either.
The 2012 has a better, Screaming Eagle, compensator. The 2012 also has a little better clutch spring.
I have both a 2010 and a 2012. The 2010 needed both the SE compensator upgrade and the clutch spring upgrade once I started putting some torque through it. I've done nothing under the 2012's primary cover. My 2010 makes 121 tq, my 2012 makes 115 tq.
I think in 2010 the 103 was an option on my Ultra. In 2012 the 103 was standard. My 2012 also has a factory oil cooler, where my 2010 does not. One other big thing, the 2010 seat SUCKED!!, not sure what changed but the 2012 had a much better seat.

The OP asked about a Limited not an Ultra. In 2010 the Limited came with a lot of options that the Ultra didn't have.
