Default non H-D trademark merchandise

Need to know what everybody thinks of a H-D dealer that sells merchandise, such as coffe cups and caps, with the Harley Bar & Shield, that are not registered trade marked items and are made in China. Actually has a Made in China sticker on the bottom instead of the trademarked Harley logo, and 'registered Product'. Selling this stuff at full H-D prices, such as $30 for a coffee cup. Is this right? Would Harley approve? This is an item, not trademarked that I could probably buy on ebay for 8 or 10 bucks. But $30? Same price as the trademarked cup next to it. This is a newly aquired dealership and I am more than unhappy about what he is trying to pull. All comments welcome. What should I do beside return the cup? Thank you

take your business else where. i have seen dealers that sell amzoil and mobil 1. they will sell you a set of vance and hines mufflers in a second. the harley brand means nothing. do you own stock in the moco and think they should be making a cut on everything the dealer sells? the guy is trying to make a living--the harley rep. will straighten him out of he is doing anything wrong.

was down at the beach a couple weeks back and walked into a Harley merchandise store. After seeing made in china on everything I touched, a sales lady asked if needed any help. I told her to find something that said made in the USA so I could buy it. She just laughed and told me her dad felt the same way. Quit waving the flag if your patriotism ends at your stock ticker.

Are you saying they are selling unlicensed products? Seems pretty stupid because that could cost them their franchise.
What dealership is it?

I think the OP is questioning whether or not the dealer should be selling unlicensed products. If the dealer is doing this then he will be delt with by the HD rep from his area.
