Default leather repair/tools

anyone ever replace eyelets in leather chaps? im looking to buy the tools and do it myself seems easy enough. anyone know of a place with quality products i can buy supplies and tools from?

I've used Tandy Leather in the past, when they had a store in town. Decent stuff, but it's not a complicated tool.

Eyelets or snaps? The tool is easy to use. The key is using quality snaps that don't break leaving the wrong sides together.

Tandy is good, I've been buying from them for years. I used to make custom knives and bought everything from to them for the sheaths.

well i was looking at eyelets, i have what looks like grommets installed now but the washer looking pieces are falling off. whats a better replacement eyeletts or grommets? im replacing the ones in the back where the leather ties.

tandy is the best for leather supplies.

I would also check out hobby lobby

ha both hobby lobby and michaels had eyeletts but no tool for install
