trade in?

As others will say/advise...only "you" can make the choice so (1) make sure it's what you want, (2) live within your means & (3) decide which bike fits your riding style. Don't expect a group of m/c forum members to tell you no, or don't do it...good luck!

i dont really get the desire to trade in a 1yr old bike that ya enjoy riding. but if it makes ya happy do it.

There is no way I would trade that Fatboy for the new CVO Deluxe. I think that Fatboy is so much better looking. Harley blew it with the CVO Deluxe IMHO. The only good part about it is the 110.

Are they likely to make the CVO Deluxe again in 15? They usually do a 2 year production. You might like the colors more if they change them, and, it gives you time to decide. Check out a bunch of dealers, one near us is charging MSRP and another is $4000 over.

CVO bikes are bad *** and once you get one anything not a CVO will not do. That being said you will take a huge hit on your trade. If you can live with that go for it. Only you can make that decision. I took a hit trading my 12 in but love my 13 CVO King.

If you can afford it, why not? The CVO's are great bikes for certain. What color Deluxe are you looking at?

The biggest downside of the whole deal is are you really willing to take a beating on the trade in value of your 2013 bike? My experience with the dealers on valuing your trade-in has been poor. I once bought a new 2003 Anniversary Low rider, kept it 8 months and wanted a Heritage instead they only offered me 16500 on a trade-in. I bought the Heritage and sold the Low Rider on my own for 22000.
