NOT appropriate motorcycle footwear, people! This made me laugh on my ride in this morning – thought I'd share.

 

Awesome! But not as bad as the fat old bastard on a Gold Wing I saw last year - wearing wife beater, shorts, and sandals. Pulled up beside him at a light and laughed my *** off!

 

In, before you get slammed for telling someone what is appropriate gear for riding.

 

I'm withholding judgement,need a closer picture, I can't tell if there is a bar and shield on those shoes or not.

Just making a joke. I could care less what other people wear. Just seeing someone riding a Harley in brown leather dress shoes cracked me up.

 

I saw a young lady riding a RG with shorts & flip flops. She was very short & her toes barley were able to touch the ground. But she had a great radio/speakers system & loud, terrible sounding pipes, so she was 'KOOL', at least in her mind.

 

Appropriate or not , motorcycle riding with dress shoes is not conducive to keeping a good presentable shine on those shoes !

 

Since you snapped that pic in Silicon Valley, that is appropriate, nerdy, geeky footwear for his job at Google, eBay, Apple etc.
FF helmet, new Sporty and stylish HD jacket all paid for with cash from stock windfalls.

 

I'd rather be the shlub on the bike wearing brown dress shoes, than the shlub stuck in his cage taking pictures & posting 'em on the internet. At least he's RIDING!
