Arrow (help asap) '07 night train w/extra's - need some price offering advise

Okay, after many, many months of looking around for a Night Train I think I have found the right bike for me. It's an '07. It has extras and done in the taste that I would've done myself, i.e., front wheel, pegs, controls, lowered, mirrors and exhaust. It has under 24k miles and looks really clean and well cared for. The bike is located out of state, but not an issue I can fly to go see it or have a buddy look at it for me from that same state/area. I've had to go outside my area because the bikes here are just not what I am looking for or they are just ragged out or over-priced. It does need a new set of tires, so that will be an immediate expense just shortly after ownership if I do buy it.

What do you think is a fair price on the bike? Are the miles high? The bike books at $9800 trade value and retail is a few hundred under $13k. I have a price I want to offer, but don't want to insult the guy. My price would be in the middle of those two values I've listed. What do you think? Thanks.

If your buddy is experienced, have him take a look. How much is the seller asking? if it checks out good, go for it. That isn't what I consider high miles. Make a reasonable offer, all he can do is say no, thanks.

FLY Your *** up there, look at it, listen to it, think about it, then if
you like what you see and hear buy the bike of your dreams. How
much you give is your business and no one else. Oh yeah one more
thing to consider 07 was the last year with out catalytic converters,
and that is a plus by today's standards.

definitely put eyes on it...i think 12.5 is fair if the condition is right but thats just my opinion. it really basically comes down to what its worth to you. no one else will have anything invested in it so give what you can afford and think its worth. night trains are amazing bikes..but im biased

Thanks lowebudget.

The bike appears nice and I will fly out to see the bike, but my buddy will look at it first before I spend the money for no reason and return disappointed. The bike does need a new set of tires he said, but nothing else.

24000 miles and needs tires? I wouldn't pay more than 11 grand! And yes you need to go look and listen to it!

I got my '07 Train new in the Fall of '06. Set it up for my style riding, and haven't had a single problem with it yet...

It's my keeper...

Nuff said.

Go take a look at the bike...
