Panhead PhDs out there, need some advice. A bike shop owner I know has a correct frame w/ swing arm just painted, a fresh, correct tranny, and a bored out (86") '65 pan head FLH motor with a clear title. Motor needs pistons. He wants $7500 for it. Would like to get opinions on the following:

1. Is that a fair price for what is offered? If not, what seems fair?
2. How much more would I potentially be looking at spending (over time) to get a nice, correct, and rideable '65 E-glide together? Not an AMCA trophy winner, but nice.

I appreciate anyone's input who has knowledge and experience with any situations similar to this one.
