1963 -1965 panhead tanks. They are 3.5 gallon and used on tank-shift models. These were still available for Police models in '65. 1965 tanks specifically designed for civilian use were 5 gallon foot shift and were one year only ('66 they got rid of the tank shut-off rod assembly). Looks ike someone painted over the original Hi-Fi red you can see on the backside of the tanks.
