I have a vest with a USMC patch on the back but I never remember to get it with my jacket. I think it ticks my wife off because of the money I spent on it and the patches.

I also have the "genuine" patch on mine. Was reading a Forum the other day about vest, really mixed reviews. I have one but rarely ever wear it.

I have a leather vest with no patches. I also have a denim vest with only 3 patches. IMO, too many patches just looks hokey. I rode with a guy last Saturday who is with a local MC and he wore a denim vest that was literally covered completely with patches. Most of them were the little rectangular black ones with those goofy sayings on them. Every now & then, someone would say something in conversation and he'd quickly point to a particular patch and recite it, as if it was pertinent to the conversation. I just came away thinking, whatta' tool...

I've spent more on patches than the Vest cost.

I have a lot of cool patches, but no vest. I get them as gifts or if they're cool I buy them. I just can't pull the trigger a vest. I don't know if I'm a vest guy. But if I ever get one I have plenty of patches for if. By the really like the METALLICA one.

I have several vest, some have lots of patches and some just a few. I wear them sometimes and sometimes I don't. But it isn't peer pressure either way that keeps me from wearing it all the time.
