Default Just got a Springer

I'm going to keep the Road King, but after riding my son's Night Train, I realized how much fun a Softail would be. I was originally looking for a Deuce when I came across this Springer. It's a 2004 with fuel injection, 20K miles. Got it for a fair price (I think) and rode it home which was 175 miles. The bike ran perfect and had a great time. Here's a pic.

Awesome! My first Harley was an 89' Springer. Wish I still had that bike.

I have heard mixed opinions of the springer front end. Some say the ride is crappy, and some say the ride is great. What do Y`all say?

Much better looking than a deuce. I loved my springer. Most who talk about the ride and handling probably never owned one, and hard to judge by just one ride.
Front brake on mine wasn't much

I'm impressed with how good it rides. That front end seems to smooth out the bumps. Took it through some turns and it handled really well. I've only had it a few days, but I'm really pleased so far.

Keep us updated. I have my eye on a springer right now.
