Default Help! Need a Seat Pad

Help! Need a seat pad for my tall boy seat. It needs more cushion for long rides. What brand are you using? Are they all basically the same?

Thanks!

http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...large-seat-pad. I bought one of these when they first came out. Used it on my 07 & now on my 2011 FLTRX. My buddies didn't think it was worth anything until the tried it out. Now they all have one. Good luck.

A few years ago on a road trip I was asking one of my riding buddies about his Saddlemen gel seat pad. He let me use it for a little while and I liked it so much I bought one at the next Harley dealership we visited. It's been on my RG ever since! I don't bother with the strap, it doesn't move around at all when you're sitting on it and I put it in the saddlebag when I get off.

I use the HD Road Zeppelin air pad when I travel. It's the same as the Air Hawk R.

Default Airhawk

My wife and I both use Airhawk cushions, they are great.

I'm with 103 sedona orange, up above in post #2. I've been using one for about 2 years now, and it really helps.

+1 on the Road Zeppelin seat pad. While it's not exactly like the Air Hawk it's close enough and actually less expensive. The only thing I did was add a small zip tie around the end of the inflation bulb to keep if from sometimes popping off.

I have this one and it is good for allowing air to circulate under you. Keeps it from getting so hot/helps with the raw a$$. But I don't think it gives much extra cushion. I think the airhawk or the zeppelin pad (or something similar) would be better for multi day rides, especially if it has some sort of circulation built in like the before mentioned HD pad.
