Default Unable to get air pressure reading on tires

On my 2012 Heritage with WWW tires, I can't get an air pressure reading. I have used a Slime digital gauge and 3 different pencil gauges. I've looked inside the valve stem covers to see if the rubber o-ring was in there but nothing, all seems normal.

Any ideas ?

Do the tires look low? You didn't say. You could try putting more air in the tire. They could be too low to be be in the gauge range. Maybe removing the valve core to find if it's stuck? When you remove it, it should be under allot of pressure and want to blow out when loose.

It sounds like the valve stem is blocked, if air isn't coming out enough to be measured.

On both tires? If so, it does sound like the pressure is WAY to low already. You can try pushing down on a valve core to release pressure. If it does so slowly then you ARE way low. You didn't by chance use any sort of a sealer in both tires?

Put in some air.
It will either clear the passage or supply enough pressure for the gauge to read.

When my bike was new, i tried to put some ride-on in the front tire after removing the valve and couldn't squeeze the stuff in. Put a scratch owl inside to see if there is something blocking it and sure enough, there was. Must have been some rubber blocking it. Punched through it and haven't had a problem since.
Try checking for that....

those pencil gauges i have found to be junk after a short time, i finally went to harbor freight and got an inline pressure gauge and then was able to put air in my tires and check the pressure

Yeah, it's on both tires and no they don't appear to be low at all. They look nice and inflated. I'll try to put some more in both of them and see it that helps.

Oh and no sealer in the tires either.

Is this a new problem for you? New tires? Take it to the dealer? How often do you put air in your tires?

Do the gauges you're using on your bike work on other tires. Doubtful that you've tried 4 different gauges and they're all bad but try it anyway and you'll be able to eliminate one possibility.
