I hope it goes thru so that I dont have to stop and put mine on before I cross the river. Only time have had to wear one is when I go out of state which is not often, but I like having the choice to wear or not to wear.

I agree with the choice of wearing one or not, so Good Luck in which ever way you'd like it to go.

Me, I'll always wear one, even though I didn't in the 70s. Old age I guess.

don't hold your breath as this has made it to senate and all the way to the governers desk and he veto it. can't believe he would veto something that is clearly wanted by the people of this state.

im for people having a choice, for me i will always have a helmet on by choice.. when i was a teenager i went off my bike and hit my head on a rock, the impact would have killed me if i didnt have the helmet on

The real issue here IS freedom of choice! Everytime we let the government try and tell us what is good for us we lose that! I wear mine but in Florida I have the choice and that is what this country is about FREEDOM!!! Stand up for it!

hardheaded; You will always have those people that need the government to led them around by the nose. The very idea of personal responsibility and having a personal choice in ones own life is like finger nails on a chalk board to some.
