Question EagleRider

Has any one on here bought a used Harley from this company ? Ive been looking for a used Roadking and they seem to worth looking at. There prices are well below the used value even with 40k on the average on all bikes. The one I was looking at was a 2011 classic RK with a 103 motor and abs brakes.

Used bike and a rental or consignment?.
40K is a lot of rental miles if it was a rental.
Not so much miles but numerous riders.
In the end it is a used bike and everything requires a double look.
Folks bring the topic up every once and a while regarding the rental bikes and it seems like it depends on the particular shop in regards to quality.
Overall same/similar to HD rentals.

My friend manages Eagle Rider in Denver. They take extremely good care of their bikes with preventative maintenance after every rental. Understand, they absolutely do not want a bike to break down, because they have to go pick it up, repair it or replace it. I can not speak to the riders, but those bikes are all in perfect condition before they go through the door. 40k miles is the end of their rentable life.

I can't believe that anyone on here treats a rental with as much care as their own vehicle, bike or car/trunk/whatever. Rentals you give back in a week or so, and providing you don't drop it, you don't have any consequences for riding it hard. So guess what? All those 40k miles are hard miles.

I wouldn't buy a demo bike either, for the same reason.

I would say the average renter probably rides fairly decent and doesn't dog the bike too bad...specially a touring bike...go fir it

I think most people do ride a rental in the same manner they would there own bike. Why would I rent something from someone and beat the **** out of it.

My biggest concern with a rental is who broke it in, so it wasn't flogged on with 20 miles. Other than that I wouldn't be to worried. Honestly I can't see someone taking a road king out and jumping ramps. But I would never buy a used rental car, cause I go dukes of hazard on those things

I wouldn't want to get stuck with any of the bikes that I've rented from Eagle Rider in the past...

Remember, "Nothin' parties like a rental"!

I would never buy a rental car/bike/truck.

I have bought a hertz rental car before...the records of service they provided me with we're overboard.....made me feel good.....Eagle rider would fix something if it was amiss ...with that said I am sure some personal bikes for sale out there have been abused and not serviced well so what makes it a sure thing?

Every rental I had, I drove it like it's stolen. Not my brakes or tires.
Many you tube videos of rental abuse.
Criminals choose rental cars for crime sprees.
