Default Brilliant silver pearl

I am hoping that someone can help.

I have a 14 brilliant silver pearl SG. Bought a quart of paint and activator from HD. Asked if there was anything else I needed being its a pearl. Nope that's all u need. Ok drop off at my buddies body shop along with a few items I wanted to match the bike. My buddy calls HD as well and asks them the same thing, Nope that's all u need.
Well, it doesn't match. My buddy and I have been in the industry for over 25 years each. And we sure as hell don't know everything, but before we make 400 test panels trying different stuff. Figured I ask.

Thanx
Manny

Is it a 3 stage color, and you don't have the 1st stage? Pearl is so transparent, there's gotta be a base under it.

I have a 2014 Road King brilliant silver pearl and work in a body shop and wanted some stuff painted on my bike and took our paint camera to the bike and the formula it pulled was a Porsche color code Z97. It was a pretty close color match. Hopefully that is a place for you start. Good luck

I got touch up paint from Harley for my 2010 SG. Brilliant Silver and it was a 2 stage paint. Not even close. I got closer going to Lowes and buying some some Silver in a spray can.

Here is the PPG paint code for the absolute perfect match guaranteed. I have many parts mixed and matched on my Brilliant Silver Pearl bike and this is the right color.

Brilliant Silver Pearl PPG code 902849
