Just throwing it out there , see if it sticks. I'm just curious what the forum members do on a Monday,AFTER the big weekend, and all the plans went smoothly or got all snafu'd.....Where do you ride on a Monday , to get away from the ''get away from it all'' weekend?

Personally I take a ride to the east side of town where it's quiet and not to many cagers get in the way.......not a long trip by any means,longest monday ride was just under 150 miles,.....but quiet just the same.

 

To work. Usually a monday meeting. You meet the nicest people on the bus.

 

When I can get off work early, I like to go to French Creek State Park on Mondays...usually it's sparsley populated and can escape the GD cars and trucks that are everywhere else.

 

To work, or school, or maybe out to the west coast of MI if I'm lucky. Its pouring here though, and although I've never considered myself a "fair-weather rider" I'm tired of little water-bullets hitting my face at 60 mph.

 

To work, lunch, then a bit of country highway after usually... Don't like the cage unless need it to haul crap.

Monday is the day I do my office work and conference call at noon. As soon as the call is done with I jump on the bike and do a loop down to the ocean and around back home. A little less than an hour's ride but it is a great getaway. Didn't ride this weekend due to family commitments so looking forward to it.

 

Mondays and in general anytime during the week is my favorite time to ride. Don't have to deal with all the weekend warriors on their Saturday/Sunday rides. Especially riding the BRP during the week is wonderful.

 

Monday ride is in the afternoon after work and usually I ride up to the watering hole and have a cold one.

 

To work. Though, calling it ride is an overstatement, being less than 4 miles.
