Default Bike just died when riding

Hey all I have a 2001 Wide glide that just shutdown in the middle of riding. No electrical power registering except at battery...checked all the fuses...any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

P.S. I am on the side of the road now

Do you have lights? All power except for starter?
Cycle kill switch and tanks switch. Wait a few seconds and it starts right up like nothing happened?
Let me know what your find out. I have been chasing this ghost for 4 years now.
I just changed out the kill switch last year. Hope that was my deal. Its very random. Once or twice per year. Most exciting on a left turn.
Really, let me know if something works for you. I will do the same.

Same thing just happened to me. We found a volt meter and determined the battery was the problem. There was no power any where. Good luck.

How are you determining the battery has power?

Had that happen to me many years ago going down the interstate on my old ironhead. Turned out to be a broken negative battery lead. Found some electrical wire nearby and rigged it back up and rode home.
