Insite into HD marketing!
Not sure this was supposed to be in the public domain but found it by accident on a search. The downside to cloud computing!

I love the " Getting to know the“Babes” bit, not patronising at all!

Mind you if someone at HD was daft enough to put in on a public access server with no protection or encryption whatsoever in the first place then you can expect someone to find it. It was not even marked as private and confidential.

This is how HD see their future female customer base.....
Jessie, The Single, Working Gal
Since 35-year-old Jessie has secured her
partnership at Branson & Stowe Law Firm
after eight years, she is looking
for a way to celebrate and
spend some of dispensable
income. She resides in New
York City in an expensive loft
with her roommate Ashley
and they enjoy going out, watching
movies and walking their St. Bernard
puppy named Lucas.
When sheʼs not at work, Jessie
enjoys walks in Central Park and having a
cupcake at Magnolia bakery. Claire also
reads Glamour magazine to keep up with
fashion trends and is always searching the
Internet on either her iPhone, iPad or
MacBook. Although she is extremely happy
with her life in the city, she misses her
family in up-state New York and is looking
for an easier way to see them on the weekends
Claire, The Thrill Seeker
Whoever says the life of a chef is all work
and no play should meet 26-year-old
Claire. Not only does she use bold spices
and new flavors to her food in the kitchen,
she takes that same attitude with her
when it comes to her personal hobbies.
Claire enjoys mountain biking and rock
climbing, but wants to have a more adventurous
experience in her daily life.
In her free time, Claire likes to go
camping and take weekend trips with her
boyfriend Chris. They are sure to take
their mountain bikes and rock
climbing gear so they can have
a different adventure each time.
When Claire is not hitting the trails
or in the kitchen, she enjoys reading
Shape magazine and watching
Animal Planet. She loves her job and
her weekend adventures, but wants to
incorporate that adventure into her every
day life.
Sarah, The Newest Empty-Nester
Now that her youngest son James is off
to college, 50-year-old Sarah has
recently been experiencing an empty
nest for the first time. Her husband
has a Harley motorcycle and she has
been riding on the back since they
got married 25 years ago. She and
her husband enjoy traveling and
she is hoping to find more activities
they can do together now
that she has more free time.
Sarah has been devoting all of
her spare time to her flower,
vegetable and herb gardens since
her youngest son is now at college.
Sarah also listens to country music
when she runs errands around
town vin her Volvo. Sarahʼs
husband is an oncologist and she is
able to live comfortably in their
home in Grand Rapids. She is happy
with her home and garden, but she is
starting to want a little more
Make your own mind up if this is a legitimate way to pigeon hole your customers!

Ha. I think I am married to Sarah. They better hurry up and sell her a bike before her Grandson shows up.
Those do all sound like target demographics. They don't seem too interested in bald, white men anymore.

Looks like the stuff of a typical sales seminar to me. Sales people are taught to identify the wants and needs of their prospects so they can match them to the benefits provided by the product. Xerox pioneered this type of professional sales approach decades ago and its been adopted by the sales teams of major organizations ever since.
If you're looking for a "Harley" problem, keep looking . They don't own this idea.
