Default Heat Deflector questions - Captain Itch and RJS

I've looked at the other threads on this topic and have a few questions.

Have any Street Glide owners experienced a problem installing a Captain Itch Crotch Cooler on their ride? Isabel and I have been writing back & forth and she's mentioned there might be a concern with the 1/4 inch thickness of the leather and whether it will fit under the seat (I have a Danny Gray Big Seat). If there's no issue I'll be putting one on my FLHX. Already have one on my Dyna and I love it.

My girlfriend has a '13 Street Bob however, for which the Captain doesn't make a Crotch Cooler, so I need to look elsewhere to protect her tender thighs. Can anyone tell me if RJS is still in business and selling their product? Most posts regarding them are old and their site redirects to what is apparently their eBay store. What I'd really like to find is an e-mail address or phone number so I can contact them directly.

Thanks in advance for any help / experiences shared.

swampfox, why don't you consider the HD-heat deflectors? I bought one for my Heritage Softail and love it. HD makes them for the touring bikes as well.

You could also try these:

I have them on my Wide Glide and they made a lot of difference. My right inner thigh was getting baked until I got these on. I'm guessing they are around 3/16 inch thick.

Thanks guys. I went with the RJS for mine and my GF is getting the HD ones for her Dyna. Do not fall victim to the disappointment of a chick with overcooked thighs.
