Default Duluth fire hose work clothing

Been researching these fire hose work jeans/pants. Some guys on the forum have recommended them. My only question is are the clothes made from the fire hose abrasion resistant like the jeans made with Kevlar?

There is a basic Wrangler jean that has the original unwashed, indigo blue board stiff fabric cowboy jean advertised on the rodeo circuit. Dunno the name or style number but just a basic jean at Tractor Supply. My point was this though. This Wrangler has the heaviest weight fabric of all the jeans on the market including the firehose stuff.

edit: The $65 Duluth Fire Hose uses 11.5 oz fabric and the $19 Wrangler Original Cowboy Cut use 14.75 oz fabric!

I've got a pair of the black (looks kinda like stone washed) ballroom flex? I don't remember the exact name but they are the ones with 3% spandex in them. Most comfortable pair of jeans I've ever had especially on the bike. Ordered my normal size. I plan on ordering more. The other jeans I have are the ones previously mentioned from wrangler. But they were only about $10 less then the ballrooms.
