This is one of the reasons I stay out of bars. Alcohol and motorcycles don't mix. I'm not trying to preach; I'm a reformed boozehound myself.

 

Had nothing to do with motorcycles, which are really just incidental to the story. Was more about ******* drinkers. Everyone could have just as easily been in a cage.

I used to bartend years ago, and I had issues with some certain bikers that came in a lot. The problem was they did just what these guess apparently did. Try to run my bar. They intimidated people for no reason, hit on girls that were clearly with their boyfriend or husband just to get a rise out of the guy, etc. I finally 86'd them. Some were cool, but a good handful did what I'm saying, so they all got the boot. Can't run much of business that way I don't think.

 

I've been to Earl's Hideaway many times. Interesting place to say the least. Usually EXCELLENT live music on Sundays

 

Sounds like a nice group of guys. Wonder if they do choir on Sundays.

The description of the assailant was "heavy set man with a goatee." Gee, I wonder how many bikers that describes?

 

I spent the last three winters within walking distance of Earl's. I never went in, though. It was always busy and always had tons of bikes parked out front.
