Default Glasses and Goggles for Rain

I have a Street Glide w/8 in. shield and I get it pretty good in my face in the rain. Whats the best way to go? Glasses or Goggles?

Is face shield not an option?

Glasses and goggles both tend to fog up in the rain (especially when it's colder) and yer face still gets stung...

Neither. Glasses and goggles won't protect your skin from the needle ****** of rain.
I ride with a 3/4 and a face shield in the rain. The shield doesn't fog up like goggles.

both Glasses or Goggles need some kind of anti-fog on it....whichever one you buy, needs to be applied pretty much every time it rains, or if on a long trip, even twice/day.
it's not part of your question, but i really do like my modular FF in the rain

I have a set of Guard Dogs goggles and they've never fogged up on me. Riding behind a windshield with a FF or goggles allows you to see pretty decent as long as your moving. At least with a windshield you don't get pelted in rain like riding without.

Well now I've seen everything. haha. If you're gonna buy that, why not just buy a full face helmet?

Anyway, as to the OP. A few of the goggle makers have vents that help to prevent fogging. My 7eye glasses have the same when I use the insert that makes them more goggle like.

But they still fog up a bit before you get moving. Once you are, no problems.

My only thing with goggles is they tend to cut down on peripheral vision. And if they don't they tend to be very large -- which means you might as well go with a face shield.

Because a “2nd Face” is very small & disappears into a saddlebag. You can ride with a ½ helmet yet have full face protection when you need it.

The UV protected, transitional lens is also better than what you find on the full face head cages.

And the adjustable venting works.

After entering the Red Sea in the first days of Desert Shield we were conducting GQ/NBC warfare drills 5 hrs. at a time, that involved wearing a MK5 gas mask for 5 hrs. Thanks, but no thanks on any thing covering my face.
