I'm Back With Another Question
3 months ago my oldest son passed away. He has a 2010 Screaming Eagle Road Glide.
The bike sat in his dads shed from March until yesterday when my youngest son took over the bike. My question is (if you can help me) would the bike smell hot from sitting in the shed for 3 months and collecting dust? I do know that about a year ago HD replaced his motor because when it was shrink wrapped at the factory, plastic actually was sucked into the motor, so I doubt that it's new motor break in. Do you think I should just give it some time and see if the hot smell goes away. It's not super strong, but is noticeable. Thanks. I'm just trying to work through all of this. Other than that. the bike runs great.

Dear Mary
I can not say enough how sorry I am for the loss of your first born son.
As far as the bike I will think it will be ok, however take the bike to a
different dealer that dose not have a clue about that bike and have
them do a service to the closest millage that is on the odometer.
