Default Power vision 1 auto tune

Hay all
Today I installed my PV 1 from Fuel Moto.Ordered it on Wednesday and It was here this AM.Thanks Fuel Moto
I have a question when using the auto tune. When I turn the auto tune on how long should I run the bike before downloading the tune? 100 200 miles. Also does the run have to be all at once or just when I have gotton miles on it in auto tune? will the auto tune program stay on all the time or do I have to turn auto tune on every time I start the scoot?
Thanks all

Good question I ran mine on AuroTune for a few days and it ran like crap. FM sent me a better tune. I am leaving well enough alone. I did hook up and mount the PV2 for monitoring at the bars. Can'r see spending all that money and putting in a drawer LOL.

Especially interested in monitoring intake and head temps,

I've been waiting for some more reviews before I pull the trigger on one-but from what I've read you're supposed to attach to your pc & download any updates, then attach to the bike & backup your stock ECM tune, then set it to record & ride your bike under normal conditions for your style of riding at least 20 minutes, then flash the results to the ECM.
I hope anyone with "real" experience will chime in.
Thanks!

That's how I did mine. I was also told that every time you turn the key off you need to put it back into auto tune.

I normally run the Autotune for 30-60 minutes at a time.

Just remember, when you run Autotune, continue to build off of your previous Autotune and not start from the base map.

Try to vary your riding style. Various speeds, rpm's etc. try to fill as many cells as possible. As stated previously, be sure to load your autotune and build off of it. That will smooth things out and help you attain the best VE over a little time.

There's no real time limit, it depends how long it take you to fill the cells.

As mentioned you need to run auto tune several times and continue saving the run to the previous. This is because the ECM can only be change by a small percentage. So each time you run from the previously saved tune you are getting closer to perfect.

Once i added new mufflers I had plenty of decel pop. I used the tuner to manually add fuel. After a few adjustments nearly all decel pop was gone.

Also remember that once you've selected auto tune you need to ensure auto tune is actually on. When I first started running auto tune i didn't realize this and couldn't figure out why nothing was changing. You'll know its running correctly when you see the cells on the screen populating red and green.

The unit is really good, you just need some patience and time to run it and learn how it works.
