Default Blind Spot Mirrors

My neck seems to not swivel as fast or flexible as it once did and I hate surprises. I run those round blind spot mirrors on my truck and cars so I thought I would add a pair to the RK. The smallest ones I could fine are 2 inch diameter, I still have a good view from the rest of the mirror field of view. Definitely improved the visibility of what's beside me. I didn't like running in stop and go traffic too much since it seemed like it was taking too long to take my eyes off the front to check my back. Now I can see what is there better when I change lanes.

Just wondering if other folks are using these.

Have you tried them while riding the bike? Or just sitting on it after installing them? Spot mirrors small enough to fit my stock mirrors would be so small, add vibration to them and they'd be useless.

Yep. Bought them at the AP store and installed before I hit the road again. Like I said they are 2 inch diameter, same as on the Chevy truck, good visibility. I liked how much more I could see at the side of me.

I've been using them for about 9-10 months and I love them. I have no blind spots. When cars leave my big mirrors, I can see them in my "bubble" mirrors. And when they're leaving them, they're beside me.

Mine are rotatable, so I can adjust them and it makes better side vision. This is a picture my wife took on the road and you can see the bubble mirror.

I bought a bicycle mirror for the left side handlebar, mounted to the inside of the mirror. Works good for me.

I got a pair from Walmart , rectangular maybe 1" tall, 2" wide and the mirror surface is moveable L-R. Very helpful to me and I think the pair was less than $5.

I looked at those adjustable ones and then went with the standard ones because I wasn't sure how they would work with vibrations etc. I mounted them in the upper-outer edge of my mirrors and am pleased with the results. I just need to get out and do some more riding now.

Awesome placement. That part of the mirror is only looking at my shoulders anyway.

Exactly. The outer half, I can see directly behind me. It did take awhile to get used to checking both mirrors but it's worth every dollar I spent x1,000.

Bought some mirror extenders through Kuryakyn. I see nothing but traffic, no elbows and no shoulders, nothing but lane or traffic.
