How many of you haven't checked your tire pressure in a while?
I'm guilty. Got back from a ride on Saturday and didn't like the way the bike felt, so checked the tire pressure. Front was 16 lbs and rear was 27 lbs.
Filled them with air 36 front and 39 rear for today's ride and the bike felt great.
So, just a reminder. If you haven't checked it in a while you may be surprised how much air you lost.

I used to check them religiously, but then I got my current bike with nitrogen in the tires. I've checked and checked over and over they don't lose 1 lb, so I don't even bother to check now.

1st of every month during riding season. Never have to add more than a couple pounds. 35 front 41 rear.

Fit a tyre pressure monitoring system and you can check'em full time.
Along with right angled valves checking and adjusting the pressure on an Electra Glide has.gone from being near impossible to pretty easy.
Just be warned, the rear right angled valve needs to face towards the belt sprocket and requires an extension on the airline. Not ideal, but way better than before.

I check mine, at minimum, every two weeks. They never vary by more than a pound or two.
(I also check them winter the bike is hibernating for the winter)

Rode a Bourget home from a friend's house last week( to work on it )
9 miles, and had less than 10 pounds in the front ..
I thought "this is really a sorry handling bike "
But with 36 pounds it is a different machine.
