Default Finally found my helmet.

I have been looking for a DOT half helmet that didn't look ridiculous. I stopped by the two motorcycle stores in town then finally the harley dealership and sure enough I found one at the dealership. Its a Crazy Al's helmet. Its pretty comfortable and low profile enough that I may put my novelty german helmet up. Here are a couple pics.

Price was $99.99 which is cheaper than I could find online.

Just thought I would share.

It looks better than the "mushroom head" helmet I got for free when I got my bike and wire once and traded it in in a helmet deal. But I like those and would like to have one to run around town with. They're just too loud wuth the wind, even with earplugs on long rides.

I have to have a DOT helmet for a ride I'm going on. This is the first one that I didn't hate.

A decent looking helmet IMO, especially being DOT and HD dealer friendly. Our local dealer won't sell anything but the HD branded Gazoo helmets.

I looked for yrs for the right helmet, I finally found the perfect fit, lowest profile DOT helmet of all places. Chincoteague VA. It's a Daytona Skull Helmet. don't even know its on most of the time.

I have the same helmet and love it. Found it at the HD dealer in St. Joseph, MO. They were actually out of them and said they couldn't keep them in stock but they held one back for me from their next shipment and I picked up on my next trip through town.

My head is in between a large & extra large size in, never found a half helmet to fit correctly.

That is exactly where I got mine. I live just north of St. Joe.

Mine is on the large side of a large. This is pretty snug but it is supposed to loosen up as I wear it.

I like it. Nice looking helmet, and it looks proportional to you head.
