Default Buying 2015 Road glide need advice

Going down Thursday to buy a 2015 Fugly. Just ordered a Ultimate Tall boy seat. My question is sine I am a big tall guy. Any thoughts on a set of pre wired Ape hangers. The new bars look terrible and will be very uncomfortable

I think your going to be stuck with those bars for a little while from everything I have read over on the RG forum.

Default Bars

The stock bars seem to come from the factory tilted back to far...Would be an easy task to loosen the risers and push them forward so they would be more comfortable. At least that was my observation when I saw a 15 RG for the first time.

From what I was told, that would be correct-

I took a look at the 2015 Road Glide this weekend, no test ride ankle/foot still a mess post surgery, But back to the bars don't be so quick to discount them I'm 6ft2 with long arms & have a tall boy seat myself. I do think you are not stuck with them, "internals" they are basically the same set up as the batwing 14's just different bends.

Just my 2 cents.

Yeah, but I thought I read on Roadglide.org that they have pins in them, locking the position in. But I could be wrong.

i don't think so. the new bars are pinned. not sure how much, if any, you can move them.

I only sat on one with out a tall boy. But I doubt the seat is going to fix the bars, I loved the old bars on my 08. They did say they might be able to put cvo bars on it. But if I am putting money it, I want apes

Don't know all the specifics. You may have to wait a few months for the aftermarket to catch up.
