Default 2015 Road Glide I am disapointed

Hello Folks
Just got back from a 3100 mile road trip on the 2014 FLHXS and decided to go to the HD dealer showroom to check out the new 2015 Road Glide I went to sit on one and felt very comfortible My only disapointment was the sales person said that it did not come availible as a Road Glide Ultra package It just seemend they took a Street Glide and stuck the Shark nose front end on it Am I wrong in assuming that Harley needs to offer this model with the Tour pack and Lowers Also missing were the addional guages
Any thoughts /opinions?

If they put that stuff on there, it would look too much like a Gold Wing.

since 2010, the roadglide custom has been a street glide with a different fairing. i'm sure that there will be an ultra version coming out, maybe a mid year release, maybe next year. i do know that there will be a cvo ultra version coming out, thats already been posted about. as far as missing gauges, if there is not a physical gauge, the info can be gotten from your infotainment system. in fact, there is even an 'extra' one now, oil temp.

It COMES with an oil temp guage ?

Are you SURE . All they could find for me in the computer was air temp, and they told me I'd have to add an oil temp guage. But there's no place to mount it. When I added the oil temp guages to both my RGs, I stuck it where the air temp guage was. The new RG doesn't have a hole in the dash for it.

ooops, sorry. got to typing too fast. i meant engine temp. it is in the infotainment system. gives you air temp (why?), engine temp, and oil pressure.

for physical gauges, you get: speedo, tach, volt, and fuel.

right? if your willing to go from a 14 SGS to a 15 RG... adding lowers and a tour pak seem like peanuts..

Wow, $40,000 buys a real nice car or truck.
