Default Cold Clutch issue

I have a 2010 Deluxe with 2400 miles on it and I did have the clutch adjustment done at 1K service. I have this strange problem when the bike is cold at my first stop when the clutch is pulled in it doesnt seem to totally disengage right away. And when I go to take off it acts very strange and almost stalls. It happens every time and only the first stop when cold. The rest of the ride there is never any problems. Even is it sits during work, it works just fine. Its after it sits over night or longer.

Any ideas??

You said you had the clutch adjusted but I didn't hear that it was adjusted properly. How much free play do you have in the clutch cable? Could also be an overfilled primary. Might try starting the bike with the clutch pulled in and holding it in for a little bit to allow the clutch plates to separate before you take off.

Change primary oil to 20w50 full synthetic. Mobil 1 V-Twin, Amsoil or whatever. Best to use motorcycle only oils. Some say the automotive equivalent will cause clutch to slip due to friction modifiers in the automotive stuff. Hope this helps.
