i usually don't say anything if I don't have something good to say but...

I put a set of these on before my vacation trip last year (about 4500 miles) through colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota.... I was pulling my trailer and ridding speed limit or a little above.

I had oil all over my right rear fender and wifes right leg. As soon as I got home I setup a line that vented to the atmosphere below my trike. I don't smell oil and don't see any under the trike when I lift it for cleaning.

 

Dang, that's a lot of oil for 4500 miles, and yet with the hose nothing? Weird. Pulling the trailer maybe?

 

It still vents some oil to the ground but the hose is long enough to get the drip away from my bike. I am sure the trailer played a big part in the work on the engine causing more than normal venting.

It don't take much oil to get all over things. I just don't want it on me or the side of my bike.
