First time poster!
Hello, I have a 1:1 speedometer and a 2240:60 speedo gear drive off the front wheel. I can't find a 1:1 speedo gear to fit my bike anywhere. Is this even possible or should I re-sell this speedometer on Craigslist and get a 2240:60 speedometer?

I think you need to find another speedometer, I think the 1 to 1 units are driven by the 4 speed transmission,
