Default First triglide road trip

Just took a little 850 mile trip to Texas on the Triglide from New Orleans. I've already said all the superlatives anyone could say about the best thing since slice bread ....so with that said, I'm very proud to be an owner of a new triglide. My wife and I got out of town for Mardi Gras...just headed west without any particular plan. Enjoyed a short ride along the Gulf Coast (Galveston) area, then up to some hill country between San Antonio and Austin. The performance of the trike was excellent. Pulled us well up those hills and everything performed as expected.... I do know an upgrade of some sort on the rear shocks is in order before any future trips. We were maxed out on our weight....and I think the ride could have been better on some of the roads...I need to look in on the options. Otherwise an excellent trip particularly for my wife who has never ridden more than 200 RT miles down the MS coast for dinner. Just thought I'd passed this on for some folks who are on the fence about a trike.

We just bought one last week. It won't be ready to pick up until next week, but we are already looking forward to our first trip. I would be very interested to know what you find out about the rear suspension because I have been told that it could use some improvements.
