Rode Trip 918 miles on my xg 750
Rode from Russellville Arkansas thru Eastern Oklahoma-Dallas-Oklahoma-back to Arkansas. Rode around some in Dallas and Sulpur Oklahoma. Had a nice bag bought thru JPC's that was just right for my 5 day trip. Hit Dallas rush hour....bumper to bumper....but the Bike and clutch helted up.
I crusied between 70-75 and 80 when passing. Did not have one problem or use one drop of oil. Great bike and great ride. Everything stock. When I left the House I had 777 miles on it(did 1k check). Now 1600 plus.
one of the best rode trips ive had. Oh yea, watched the Texas Rangers play two games. The problem here in the SW, is that its already getting hot!! I'am 66 and push-en on!

Great ride and it shows that a Street can tour with no issues.
For some reason the first season of Street posts are no longer here. I had posted a 2,000 mile ride report of the 750 when I took it to Sturgis and back last year.
Since I was camping I had a REI backpack with 45 lbs of gear. I also ran at 75 on the Interstate. I found as you did the bike will pull that well. I am 210 lbs and 6'3". I did find that the pegs and bars did start "buzzing" at 80 mph.
I did the 861 miles from my house to the campgrounds in about 12.5 hours. No problem with the comfort of the seat either. Gas mileage was right at 50.
I may not fit the demographics for the Street since I'm 75. I have been riding over 60 years and had about 70 bikes. I declare that the Street 750 is a great handling, tracking, braking and riding full fledged motorcycle. There's over 4K on the clock now.

I love to read about the longer road trips for this bike. I am excited to start traveling with mine. Next month I will be doing a Key West trip (about 500 miles round trip) and in the fall a NC trip (about 2000 miles round trip). I cannot wait for the experiences and I cannot wait to share them with you all. Hopefully there will be a lot of pictures.
